Dholak (Rod Tension)
Dholak is a traditional instrument of south-east Asia. It is used for a special type of music called Qawali and is also entertaining instrument on wedding ceremonies. It's a two-headed hollow drum with each head producing a high pitch and a low pitch sound. Its rosewood hollow shell is hand carved by experts and coated with special laminations to give aunique look. This Dholak is equipped with a rod tension tuning system.
